YUM Repository of Hugo van der Kooij

This is an privately operated YUM repository. It may not work at all or be your best friend. If you run into problems let me know.
Hugo van der Kooij <hugo+yum@vanderkooij.org>

All packages are now signed. You can check them with the following public key RPM-GPG-KEY-HvdK.asc

The following Linux distributions are supported:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 / Centos 5

You can use the following lines in your /etc/yum.conf file:

[vanderkooij]
name=Vanderkooij.org
baseurl=http://yum.vanderkooij.org/el5/$basearch/
enable=1
gpgkey=http://yum.vanderkooij.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-HvdK.asc
gpgcheck=1

Or drop the vanderkooij-el5.repo in your /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory.

You can install MailScanner with the following command yum install mailscanner-wrapper if you add this one + the rpmforge repository.

The perl-IO module here is designed to prevent further conflicts with the perl module itself. This is not the case for the module shipped by rpmforge themselves. You should exclude the one from rpmforge if yum can not work out that the one I am offering is newer. Add the line exclude=perl-IO to your rpmforge repo file in /etc/yum.repos.d.

You can use either the RepoView or the RPM2HTML pages to see what packages are available.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 / Centos 4

This repository is no longer available! I have no means to build and test these packages. Use source packages of el5 if you can not upgrade and see if they work for you. Terribly sorry but there is only so much a man can do with his spare time.

You need to add the rpmforge repository as well. See: https://rpmrepo.org/RPMforge/Using

If you do not know what a yum repository is then please move along. This page is propably not for you.
